I am still working on the derrick. I am half way done. I also added the legs for the derrick.

In reply to anonymous. I apologize for not replying earlier, its just that I am still working on it alot and right now I am doing some modifications. Some of these parts they are kind of hard to do but I am still trying to get it right. I am having the same problem as you are. I have been able to make it drill, somewhat, and that is where I need to work on that rotary table. I am trying to figure a way also to make it drill. So far all I have come up with is either it can turn by hand or I may have to buy like a tape recorder and attatch it to the drill pipe to make it spin and make sure the Kelly spins properly. Thats all I have for right now except I am still working on the motor and a few other matters. I need more lights. LOL. I am thinking also of repainting it. As far as parts, I am trying to find different wood that I can use so it may be a while before I will be able to finish.
p.s thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it. If anyone has a project of building a rig I would love to see their pics of it. Possibly we can get some ideas from each other.
